2/23/2001- It is a luxury resort with two restaurants and a full service spa. It has three outdoor hot spring pools and several outdoor tubs. No private spa and men and women are sharing the same tub-- so you have to wear swimming wear for that. It is quite expensive but I enjoy it a lot. Thanks for those information on the website. I am planning to visit San Lois Obispo from San Francisco area. Any suggestion for a good hot spring along the way? (highway 1)

12/7/2002- It's more like a warm spring ...or lukewarm spring ....or not-quite-cold spring ..anyhow, it's not hot. But it is expensive, and it is fun.

The water is recycled through heat exchangers and filters. They add water as needed. The water is nasty as far as I am concerned. I was being considered for the pool maintenance job a while back and I didn't take it because I didn't believe the old recycled water laden with chlorine was healthy.
Most of the rooms are very small and very old. The management and owners treat the spa staff like soldiers when they are really healers.
